Being 'liquid' has Real Advantages in Times of Crisis

I am not a real-estate economist. But I do remember things. The current subprime-mortgage crisis and real-estate depression will set in motion another enormous transfer of wealth from speculators, the wannabe wealthy, to those who are already wealthy and liquid. They will grab even more real estate, commercial property and land and get even richer. This happened in the early 1990s with the Resolution Trust Corp. I only wish I were liquid and could get in on it.
